Sold Thanks
I think the solid Mahogany Islander by Kanile'a is the ukulele of the year. Besides its physical beauty, for a modest price it carries with it the unmistakeable Kanile'a tone. For anyone looking for just a great player that can hold its own for any occasion, and with any group or ensemble, the Islanders are a treasure. This tenor is strung re-entrant with worth clear CT stings. I am including a hard shell case.
This uke was purchased 3/19/12. The action is low and there is absolutely no buzz of any kind. The sound is rich and resonant with long sustain. it is very easy and fun to play.
I am selling a number of my ukuleles because I just over did it in buying this year. I now have a K-1 super tenor, Kamaka HF-38, and Pono MHTSH,(all of which I am keeping) so I am looking to sell this Islander and the Lanikai that I have up in another post. Sold my Kanile'a K-1 deluxe yesterday. Just too much of a good thing.
