Working on a steel string, semi hollow body electric ukulele for my son's birthday. I'm going to install a magnetic pickup but am thinking of throwing a piezo on there too. I'm using a hardtail bridge and wondered if anyone has used any of the piezo saddles for that type of setup. I know GraphTech makes the Ghost system. I doubt a piezo on the soundboard will do any good.

Here are some photos of it in the finishing process. Top is walnut. Body is mahogany and I found some really curly mahogany for the neck.

Two coats of amber shellac followed by nitro lacquer. The shellac really brings out the color and figure. I really like it on koa. It turns the sap wood almost gold.
