Brian Griffin of Griffinukuleles has been taking photos and explaining his daily build of three Griffin Pinecone ukes.

It's fascinating seeing the photos and reading his commentary about the stages.

It's given me a whole new insight on the thought process and intricacies of building a custom uke.

I feel blessed everytime I play mine. The deep mellow sound and the energy it gives from so many hours of French poilishing and close scrutiny is something I've yet to experience with another instrument.
