(Apologies it this is a repetition of a recent post)

Brett, a guitarist friend, recently borrowed my Lanikai pineapple and now he is in love with ukes and wants to buy a new tenor, possibly solid wood.

I've generally pointed him towards a Kala/Lanikai instrument, although I was not able to provide him with a more definite model.

Would anyone have any suggestions for a good tenor @ $250 that I can pass on to him.

Thanks in advance

Islander always comes up as a good choice, although I've never personally owned one. I do own a Koa Pili Koko which I'm very happy with (soprano though). I hear their tenors are fantastic, too, and the top of the line model is less than your budget and all solid wood. I'd definitely check them out!
