g'day everyone my name is keith, i have been playing uke for bout 2 months now,I also play banjo for abouts 5 months too, bought my first one cost me $30 it was s** but it was good to learn on, im now looking to upgrade to something a bit better and looking at spending about $200, i have a few links of some i like (these are on australian ebay) i was wondering if use can tell me though, whats the the difference between a soprano(which i have now), a concert and a tenor ukulele, i know the soprano is smaller thats all, also if i did get a tenor, or concert will all the cord placements on the fret board be different??? heres the ones im looking at let me know, im going for a ride on my kangaroo now out to the bog:D cheers

This video should answer a lot of your questions.

No, you can tune all the sizes the same way.

aloha from australia aswell, where bouts u at??

IMO i would get a tenor, but those kala's are nice. but tenor's feel so comfortable ^^

i used to live in wollongong moved to perth 5 months ago for uni schollarship

WHY WUD U MOVE FROM WOLLONGONG!!! its nice there i wanna l there when im older..

anyways. im from campbelltown and im almost 100% sure u know where that is

lol yeh i know played rugby many of times there, wollongong was nice but when your offered a 65k a year starting wage plus your uni paid for for the whole 7 years plus 10grand pay rise every year for the 7 years plus a house and car and fly in fly out and garanteed 200k a year after finished studying i reckon anyone would take that.....:D so thats why i moved, and perth is beautiful palce great move...

team? Huh.. I dun follow any sports.

We win in fights

we r superior!!

Sydney is boring aswell, which is why every1 causes trouble. Because nothing else to do.

perth isnt boring neither is money:d i love money i mean perth :d plus free frequent flyer points :d

In that case...why don't you spoil yourself with a nicer uke? Those Kalas are nice, but hey, you deserve it, haha!

Any help you need, just contact me, I run a music store in Cairns and we specialise in ukes. Sold quite a few over that way too.
