This is an original song I wrote several years ago. It's about emotional distance, and about how movies always make it clear what you should be feeling, while real life can be harder to process. Maybe if we heard big swelling string chords as we were walking down the street, we'd know what to feel.
This was originally written on keyboard, as a synthesizer riff. It sounds very different on ukulele, but I like that the strum is totally different than anything else I play.
