View Full Version : Decent Quality Video

After posting my first Youtube video, I'm quite certain I'd like better quality recording. Audio is fine - I've got a studio condenser mic and a recording suite, but it's the video. How much do you need to spend to get decent quality? My webcam is 5 years old - have they got better, or do I need a digicam?

Just use an ordinary digital compact (if you have one). The video mode should be good enough. I have just uploaded a song to YT that was 75% of the maximum allowable size.

Some people are using expensive video camera and their video quality on YT is terrible.

My still digicam doesn't have a video mode, so that's out, unfortunately. Never mind though, I shall find something suitable for not too much money.
