Kremona UK-1 pickup

I was able play with one on Tuesday. Honestly, it sounded a lot better than I thought it would. It sits on the bridge and you put your string on top of it. It didn't seem to affect the acoustic playing at all. The amplified sound sounded hollow to me, but much better than I expected. It is relatively unobtrusive. For $65 ish, it is worth a try.

Could you use it if your uke doesn't have a tie bridge?
