View Full Version : Does anyone make a pineapple tenor?

I've been looking but haven't found anyone who does. I'm wondering maybe the body shape wouldn't translate well for the larger size? ie, too loud/too much bass? Would I have to go with a custom maker? :confused:

This won't help you very much, but I built this one (on the right in the photo, next to a pineapple soprano) in an ukulele building class led by Rick Turner (Compass Rose).

Sean Yacavone has had a William King tenor pineapple on his site, www.ukulelefriend.com for some time now. Very, very expensive though.
