My First SOLO Video with my Mya-Moe Red Cedar Resonator

Hi All, in order to shake off my stage fright, I decided to post my first solo video which our group had done a few weeks ago.

Mad World is such a great song for a solo piece and it's not extremely fast so I figured I couldn't screw it up too bad ;-)

Singing in key by yourself without other instruments and people is REALLY tough for me considering I only started singing about 8 months ago. Had a sax stuck in my mouth for 15 years so I never did sing.

This is what makes the uke so much fun...learning new things. Hope the vocals are not too bad, I'm just self taught and I am sure with some lessons I could get decent but hey, all my $ goes into ukes ;-)

It's certainly interesting seeing and hearing yourself.

LOL with that strap it looked like the uke body was a triangle, I was like "WTF kind of Mya Moe is that?" haha
