The wee magic stane

You've probably seen the film, "Stone of Destiny", written by Ian Hamilton himself. If not, I highly recommend it, great flick. The "Stone of Scone" -- who comes up with this stuff? :)

A very nice song, great singing (without reverb!) and an
a-b-s-o-l-u-t-e-l-y amazing dress, I want one of these too :iwant:
Good nite!

I got it as a present from my daughter. It is called a Onesie.
In actual fact it is an adult version of a babies romper suit.
I am told they will be the de rigueur fashion statement
at most rock festivals this year :eek:ld:

:) Wonderful - I like that you got in on the hysteria with a suitably subversive song. And yes, I think the real one is still out there, somewhere. Maybe hidden away under the flags in some wee Scots kirk? ;)

Beautifully sung and played, as always Rob. :)

There is a brilliant play, The Cheviot, the Stag, and the Black Black Oil written in the 1970s
which deals with the highland clearances. Vast tracks of Scotland are owned by English Lords
and the crofters were an inconvenience to them, since their presence interfered with the
breeding habits of the grouse, and nothing could be allowed to jeopardize the glorious twelfth,
when the english lords and ladies came up to Scotland to bag a brace of grouse.

The black black oil concerns the north sea oil which geographically belongs to Scotland
but yet the revenues go straight to Westminster... ah the injustices :)

However the one benefit of oppression is that you get all the best songs.
Just ask the Irish about it :)
