What kind of strings do you use on yours? And what tuning you keep?

I use Worth BM tuned in ADF#B, but I think it is a bit low.

Same sopranino, same strings, same tuning... I'm of no help to you!

I don't find it "too low," however.

I had an ohana sk21 and used Fremont blackline hards and used standard GCEA tuning. It didn't feel too low or too soft. :)

My Ohana sopranino has D'Addario J65 strings, tuned to an E flat 6th chord (fourth string tuned to B flat, third string to E flat, second to G, first to C). I just tuned up the strings until they sounded nice. Those were the nearest notes. It's sounding great.

I have a KoAloha Noah, as well as two Kala Pocket Ukes. (One acacia, one mahogany.) I use Worth light Clears exclusively, and I love them. I also keep C tuning on all of them, and I love that as well. I've tried tuning 'up' and it sounds like a bad Chipmunks album-only worse.

Worth Brown Fat, tuned GCEA. The fatter tighter strings seem to counteract looseness caused by the short scale.

My sopranino has an 11.7" scale, a bit shorter than the Ohana sopranino but longer than the Kala Pocket Uke. I use Aquillas with standard gCEA tuning.

Ohana SK21. Carbons.. Standard tuning. Works very nicely with it.
