Not sure if I'm allowed to post this - just give me a nudge if not, and I'll remove it.

But I just came across this Indiegogo project:

and that is one movie I would love to see! :drool:

Looks like they might have a hard time making their goal on time though.
Fingers crossed they get a last-minute push!

There's been four other posts about this, but none seemed to gain traction. I think the UOGB is not as well known outside of Europe, even though they really should be.

Nevertheless, they are immensely talented. And it would be a shame if the project does not get made because I would really love to see the DVD (I've contributed by the way).

Actually, I find the search function less than ideal. If I have to search for something, I use google. Type what you're looking for, followed by "site:www.ukuleleunderground.com"

And never say never! It looks like they had a big push, and are only now $2000 away. I think that's like $5000 today only! Let's hope the next 33 hours brings good news.

One thingnive not worked out is, are the UOGB in on this deal? I'd have thought their management would (if they thought it a good idea) would recommend investing in this if there was some return for them.

Not seen any of the members of UOGB even mention it though?

I actually first became aware of it through their newsletter. Their email from 11 May has the DVD as the lead story, and it's mentioned again at the bottom of their 8 June newsletter email.

In any case, all that is moot, since they've already reached their goal! $40,171 with 21 hours to go!
