Hi there,
I'm new to UU but am very interested in eventually building my own uke but i have no power tools etc so i think i'd have to start with a kit first.
Anyway, i work at a school at the moment in the woodwork bit along with science, i have a ukulele which i got for about 20 quid, but it is my only one so i dont want to ruin it, but i was wondering what your opinion on a side soundhole would be. I saw some ukes with them and had a little play and really liked it so i was wondering if i could drill a hole into the side of mine.
Would it ruin the Sound, would it break the uke to pieces? As you all have more experience then me i thought i'd ask your opinions.
Thanks alot
