So, tell me what you think. Suggestions, tips?

Hi. With the bridge that far down, I really hope you don't have an end block under it. Next time, try to get the bridge halfway between the end and the soundhole. In this case, and with this scale length, you would have needed a longer neck and maybe a 16 or 17th fret connection.

But as you will build more (everyone does), just keep it up and experiment. I would recommend building a few from plans. It's a good way to start learning what many people have thought about for a long time.

Sven has covered some of the points I see in that the bridge needs to be forward from where it is right now. Joining the neck to the body at a higher fret position will get you closer to where it should be.

It's really cute!

Very nice! Play around, remember, there are no rules! If you feel it, build it....
Please post a video of it. We all want to hear how it sounds.

If you go with a glue on bridge, be sure to sand down to bare wood and don't just glue to the paper top....don't ask how I know.....

Well, as Sven said, the bridge is a little too far back, and it is a bit quieter because of that. But, I couldn't really imagine a 9 or 10 inch scale length!

Nah, my point was that you could keep the scale length, but use a longer neck. Give it some thought and you'll see what I mean.
