Great picture. Where's the faces. I thought I was finally going to see what Stan looks like.

The mystery lives on!!
Pretty ukes, boys.

Beautiful ukes for sure. I'm sure they sound as good as they look. Thanks for sharing the pics.

Hey Stan, if all goes well, I'm leaving Seattle Tues night, July 3rd.
I'll be celebrating with some friends who are also celebrating their 40th
wedding anniversaries this summer.

When I see you I hope to be able to play that beautiful uke! I'l have
to see what my sister has in mind re: care for my mom and dealing with
the attorney and fixing up the house....

Hope to see you in a few weeks :)

keep uke'in'

Both pretty tremendous instruments....

So 808, yours is string though, while Stans has bridge pins. Does that make a huge difference in the resonation of the top? I have one string-through (Waverly Street), and the rest are either the classical tie, or knotted before pulling through the bridge, and I'm not sure of any resonation difference. I was planning getting bridge pins whenever I get a custom uke, but I'd like to know what others think.

Aloha Kakou,
As per Stan to keep his mystery status, I posted this one.....sorry gang.
@Kurt, there IS a belief that string through helps transfer the vibrations better for more resonation. I chose that method for aesthetics.
@uncle Rod, I'll miss you by 12 days. Your family is in Palolo? Have a safe and fun trip.

It's SANTA CLAUS...I knew it all along...shucks...gee I love you guys

Too funny. At least I guessed correctly on your foot wear preferences.

Some things are best a mystery...

Great looking ukuleles!
