Long time away from the UU but I've been busy playing guitar and learning bass guitar. Anyway, I must get my uke chops back up to par as one of my daughters (and husband) relocated to . . .

Waipahu, HI:shaka:

Oh, and they are expecting (grandkid #5) :nana:

Welcome back! Now you'll have to get a Kala U-Bass electric bass ukulele to add to your collection!! :)

Welcome back! Congrats on the #5 grandkid! Now you got somewhere to crash in Hawai'i and a reason to go help babysit! :)

Welcome back! And congratulations on the new grandchild!

BTW, I was just visiting family in Palm Beach County. Where do you guys go to buy ukes there?

The two nicest stores are Chafin Music in Lake Worth and Georges in WPB. Georges is moving because the old Palm Beach Mall will be rebuilt as an outlet mall. Georges bought Musician's Buy in Riviera Beach so they are moving there for now.

Thanks everyone, the chords are starting to come back. Not that hard since they are really just the top of guitar chords transposed up a fourth. (if I recall correctly).

As far as the Kala Ubass goes, read this.

Thanks! I'll definitely check in when the date firms up to find out what's happing there uke wise. My son in law also plays ukulele (at least he did at one time I'll have to bug him). I'll be totally stoked for that trip for sure!
