I am selling my Tyler Mountain Banjolele (model TMBU-200), to help offset the cost of a new guitar. I received the Tyler Mountain in trade for a Mainland Banjo uke last spring. This is a soprano scale. It is quite heavy and feels much more substanstial than the mainland. I have been very pleased with this instrument. The Tyler Mountain is very, very loud. It competes with the banjo in our house as loudest instrument. It is loud in part to the brass tone ring and resonator back . This instrument compares to and is very similar to the Gold Tone Deluxe Banjolele down to the fret markers. Overall the instrument is in great shape, minus a scratch in the finish around the G string tuning peg which is how it was when I received it. It doesn't impact playability, but I took a close-up picture so folks could see this. The Tyler Mountains are hard to find (retail is $499.50 according to Tyler Mountain website), and this is a very nice playing banjolele. It is currently strung with Martin strings and I will include a lightweight STONE gigbag.
SOLD!!! Paypal preferred.
I couldn't seem to get a picture where the finish didn't reflect me in the resonator.
Here is a closup of the scratch around the G string tuning peg.
Here are a few soundclips of the Tyler Mountain:
