It was so awesome.

Seeing a bunch of kids ukeing their hearts out.

They put on a great show. If you have the chance to see them live. Do it!

In its segment on the Langley Ukulele Ensemble, the film The Mighty Uke mentioned that the LUE goes to Hawaii every year and showed portions of one of their Hawaii visits. I've heard that the LUE is going to be at the Reno-Tahoe Ukulele Festival in April 2013.

I'm very jealous. They are my heroes. For someone who runs a school-based ukulele club, Peter Luongo's achievements are genuinely awe-inspiring. And after some e-mail correspondence, I can attest that he is a very kind and generous man.

Damn it! I was at Ukulele PuaPua store buying a humidifier at the Sheraton Waikiki on Sunday afternoon just before leaving for the airport and saw the poster for the event. That hurt not being able to see them play after watching The Mighty Uke. I missed all the uke performances on my trip.

Glad you were able to see them play.

I was able to catch one of their performances earlier in the week. They tend to change their program a bit from night to night. It's a treat you mustn't miss if at all possible.
