@musiccityuker, i'll tell you my story. i was learning to play the guitar, when i saw this video of paco the lucia that made me feel the same way....quit...... but after a while i thought "yes, i will learn to play the guitar"
now i'm not a pro player but i feel comfrtable playing what i play. and there's no magic in that, only the science of practice, study, y perseverancia. Be smart when you have limited time to practice, work on your weak spots. Spend time with te instrument, even if you're not playing, your body (propioreceptores in spanish) will get used to the instrument.
