Anyone use a uke kit?

If you are good at woodworking, go for it.
 
for me i would rather just build the whole the from scratch or close to scratch cause to me it seems like if your gonna do it i would want to build the whole thing. thats just my opinion
 
It certainly is several steps up over Grizzly's kit. Acacia is a great wood. Perhaps it is an optical illusion, but the braces do not look straight across the back. The only reason that might not matter is if it has a flat back. A curved back really improves the sound. The tuners are heavy and the holes are large. $130 cash for an acacia concert is a great price

I prefer the kit from Stewart MacDonald.
