Here's mine (#121). She's a beauty, but I am considering perhaps putting her on the marketplace. She's just not getting played enough and she deserves to be played!

I bought my Wixom "off the rack" when Wixom-mania hit UU. It's #106, all koa, and I love it.

Those are called side sound ports and not a regular option...you pay extra for that..Willie's price is 50.00, other
builers can cost multiple times that..

I hope some day. Querried Willie re: my "vision" for an art deco kind of curly maple and ebony thing I call Black Tie and Jean Harlowe. Hope I actually have it built...these ukes seem to be tremendous value in a custom uke.

Mine is #119, a spalted mango soprano. It makes me smile whenever I take it out of its case.

This is the most bad-ass uke I've seen in a while. Wow. (that 808 headstock inlay is sick!)

Those are both knockouts! As a fellow Wixom owner, I'm sure these ukuleles sound as great as they look!

Does Willie post on UU ? I've just tried to browse his gallery and noticed that the images on there are between 500k and a meg. No wonder it takes so long to load them. This was the 5th or 6th time I've been on his site and on all previous occasions I've just given up waiting. Someone needs to resize them for him (filesize, not dimensions btw).

MM Stan,

Great Idea! Now we need to get all the UU'ers with Ditsons to do the same, too. Alas, someday......I'll get one.

http://www.ukuleleunderground.com/forum/showthread.php?68668-New-Willie-Wixom-Curly-Koa-Sopranino

I keep forgetting to add, my WW is #132.

P.S. I added a sound sample to the original post, I hope ya'll don't mind my ham-fisted playing. It's fun for me...

It's okay. I can't do justice to the ukes I own already.

The festival was awesome! This year they had a small tent near the vendors that most of the performers swung by and did extended sets. It was incredible.

Which uke(s) are you bringing to Napa?

Does Mr. Wixom do Baritones? I've seen absolutely no mention anywhere ever on this subject.

I asked. He says that he has had inquiries and so he is adding them to his line. So, yes, he will make one for you.
