Ukulele kit sans body

This "kit" was just added to the C.B. Gitty online store.

It looks like a neat solution to someone wanting to build a ukulele, but is intimidated by the thought of carving a neck.

It comes with tuners, fretboard, bridge, nut, plus a few other things.

Just add the cigar box or cookie tin and you're all set.
The description cracks me up .....

could the neck be attached to a cigar box with screws or does it require some sort of support rod thru the cigar box?

You could attach it without a support rod, if the cigar box is sturdy enough. You could also reinforce the box with bracing and kerfing.
