pre 1930 UB-1 Gibson Banjo UKE ( purchased in person at Gruhn Guitars in Nashville on Broadway) quite nice- see pix album: mahogany stained laminated maple rim and flat plate resonator, 6'' skin head, 10 brackets, maple neck, dyed pearwood fingerboard, dot inlays, 17 frets, script logo straight across headstock, mechanical friction tuners with black buttons,1-1/4'' ebony nut, 12-1/2'' scale

This instrument is the smallest of the Gibson range and is categorised as Style UB1. Having only a six inch rim, it packs a surprisingly powerful musical punch. It has a light mahogany finish, with a flat back amplifying resonator, friction pegs and a full size fingerboard inlaid with three position dots.

This is a pre – 1930 instrument manufactured by Gibson Inc., Kalamazoo, Michigan, USA having the Gibson trademark ‘The Gibson’ on the peghead.
