I picked up a Fender Nohea tenor the other day and attempted to tune her with my Lanikai electronic tuner. Is it the norm for her to lose it's tune without playing it? I tune it, then put it down, then come back to tune it, and it's already out of tune again. Are the strings just stretching until the get to their happy point? I don't recall having this issue with my MArtin S1 or Cordoba 20TM.

Yes - brand new nylon strings take a bit of time to "settle in" because they are stretching.

Took about two weeks

It took about two weeks for my Lanikai to get to the point where I didn't have to keep tuning her. At the beginning, it'd even slip during practice. Now, it's relatively solid even over a day or two.

This is with the stock Aquila strings.

Oh yes...new strings take some time to stretch out!! I have had it last for over a week. Just keep retuning and suddenly you will realize that you are tuning less and less!!!!

HAHA! Another Nohea owner. We should start a group :)
