Rave review for both Mike at Uke Republic and my new Mainland cedar concert uke.
A few days ago I emailed Mike as I was wondering when they would get their Mainland cedar top concerts in. He told me it would be a few weeks at least. But then he offered a b-stock/blemished that was exactly what I wanted and at a price that I could more easily afford.
My uke arrived today and I am in love. It sounds beautiful, the set up is wonderful and it is also a beautiful instrument. I am pretty new to the uke, but this is light years over my Kala KA-S. My fiancé doesn't play uke but he immediately remarked how beautiful it looked and sounded and how much better in tune it is.
I can't thank Mike enough for his assistance and the amazing set up of the instrument. Also, love the Mainland itself too. I certainly know why they were out of stock!
