I was working on a few prog rock things last week, including this one. I'm hoping to do a uke duet of this song and maybe Starship Trooper with a friend who sings much better than I do sometime in the next couple of months.
I was trying to run the uke through my new keyboard's effects processors. It didn't make the uke sound any different, but it made big changes to the wind sound I triggered at the very beginning of the song.
This is one of the only Yes songs where I have any idea what the song is about. I heard a podcast a few years ago where Jon Anderson explained that it's about mountain climbers freezing to death on a mountain and waking up in heaven.
