Well, it's finally come and I got to see and play the wonderful Acacia Ubass my family bought for me.
The poly strings make it sound like a good ol' standup bass and just a breeze to play. The upgrade to get the hipshot tuners amd rosewood binding was a good choice. Even playing unplugged it gives a pretty good thumpin'; loud enough to appreciate the quality tone and great intonation.
It'll definitly end up in the family instrument library after I'm gone many years from now. (Trustfully lol.)
