Tuned my concert uke down a tone to Bb so I could use the "same" chords as in the book I used but at a pitch that better fits my voice.

I was pleasantly surprised how retuning gave the uke a more mellow tone while retaining its essential character.

This is one of my favourite songs. It does get a little high for me in parts, and when I sing it .... I give the world its saddest sound ..........

The top notes are pushing it for me too which is why I used a uke tuned down a tone. It meant I could hit the top notes.
