Congrats Stan

I like the fact that you try difft brands! So do you like all diff't sounds or does your ear gravitate to the Hawaiian ukulele sound? I am not even sure if we can define it even the K brands sound a little difft. What type of flower is on the headstock?

Sound sample please.

Holy Cow, Stan!

What a GORGEOUS uke!! If it sounds half as good as it looks, it must be GREAT.

The Orchid is a popular flower in hawaii but no means hawaiian, our lei makers get orchids from thailand where it is more abundant and cheaper..

08-27-2012, 04:51 PM
That is one great looking uke Stan. And the beautiful orchid inlay fits very well in the design. Toni has a great artistic design sense in her ukes. I can only assume your Anakoneke has a sweet, very resonant bright sound unlike any uke you have.

Aloha Doc,
Thank you...it had just the perfect amount of brightness she does her own inlays...she sent me an email of her daughter uke she is building with lots of beautiful inlays...I would post
it here, but I am not sure how to copy it from my email....if anyone knows how...let me know...not too computer savvy
