I think they are more expensive than last time.

MS $189

MC $199

MSD $269

For What its worth I've got a pono MT-E and in person I think the satin finish looks better than the gloss finish. I think these ukes are too plain to justify the gloss finish. Also I tried to post this a few minutes ago but it didn't show up.

Thanks for the heads-up- there is also a Bari ths tme.

just wanted to chime in and say I bought one of the MSD's first time around from the seller. It was 189 bucks, and I cannot find a blemish. I disagree about the gloss finish, it is really well done on these ukes and brings out the grain of the mahogany beautifully. I would not swap it for the satin, but prefer to pay the little extra. It is perhaps the best money I ever spent on an instrument given they retail well over 400 dollars. I encourage any fence sitters with the available cash looking for a great production line soprano to try them out. Can't vouch for their concerts and baritones but the MSD I bought is very sweet.

guess I need to say that I've no association with the seller, but just excited at getting a great deal. blessings all!

Oh man, this is really tempting...especially since the Pono MB is literally #1 on my want list right now!

My Pono 6 string tenor had no flaws on it either.

Wish they had a tenor size.

Okay what the Hell does MSD stand for........oh well, once a car guy, always a car guy...ha ha

I ordered a satin soprano. I'm anxious to see if the instrument lives up to all the positive things I have heard about it.

Didn't see any. Humm, if a glossy soprano shows up, I'm gonna be mighty tempted! Played a few really sweet Ponos at HMS last July. :)

Damn, they got a MSD glossy soprano. A bit more than I wanted to spend though...

Jon and anyone else who has purchased from this seller:
I'm wondering if the instrument required set up when you received it. I'm not really in the market -- but I can't help but think about the baritone. I would not be able to do my own set-up, though, so that would be an added expense.

These ukes are coming directly from Ko'olau so you can guarantee that they have been given the once over and set-up correctly.

I got the concert and soprano satin finish last time around. Both were set up fine.

My 6 string has a couple of barely perceptible nicks in the binding and a couple of finish spots that just look like the mahogany took the stain a bit differently, and it is a satin finish. Otherwise it is flawless, and the sound and playability is excellent. I did take my saddle height down by taking some material off the bottom, but I usually do that with any uke. Intonation is spot on.

@Stan it looks like the Ds have ebony fretboards and headstock faceplates.

Does set up correctly/fine translate into having low action? I'm very tempted by this deal and would like something with low action.
