Dang girl, you play the same songs I do. That MM sounds wonderful and your voice, well it just sings.

Now see there am in good company then. i do a little bit of everything
from opera, jazz, country, rock, and really like the old folk music. Am
looking forward to the playing getting better but step by step. In a way
am a bit sorry to be leaving for Spain for a month but am going to work
on my cajon skills. When i return it will be full speed ahead with my Uke.
i do LOVE the MM. Will have to hear your version of the songs. Looking
forward to it.

Wow, you've been busy! That Mya Moe really suits you. :)

You have a lovely voice. Reminds me a bit of Salli Terri. Here she is with Villa-Lobos' Bachianas Brasileiras No 5. The melody on this one is haunting and always sends shivers down my spine.

Actually, Villa-Lobos was Brazilian and the lyrics are in Portuguese.

Found this guitar tab, scroll down for the translated lyrics.

You don't really need to know a language to sing in it, just how the pronunciation goes. I've sung a lot of Gregorian chant in my day, but that doesn't mean I know beans about Latin. :p
