Aloha Folks,

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ubND8GxNeeE&feature=youtube_gdata_player

For anyone who's interested here's a video of my uke band finishing off out set on the final night of the Caledonian Folk & Blues Festival in the Edinburgh International Fringe Festival.

Line up is (left to right) drums, kala baritone, kala u-bass, ashbury tenor and finally me on a Risa electric (swapping for the tenor for the second solo). I reckon it's worth spending 7 minutes watching this!

Enjoy and all feedback welcome!

Nice --- Love that song - one day will have to learn to play it.
Really like your group.

I'm practising a simple version, cheated a bit because I have no low-G uke. I'm not a very good tabber, but I'll try to explain how I play it:

high g cheated intro:

-----------------0-3-0--------------
--------1------1-------1-0-1--------
-0-0-2----2--2---------------2-0-2-
-------------------------------------

After that:

-Dm-Dm-C-Bb-A-A-A7-A7-

-Dm-Dm-C-Bb-A-A-A7-A7-
when the same chord comes twice in a row I play it downdownupup, allthough downdownupdown sounds good to, the single chords I play downdown.

Followed by:

-F-F-F-F-C-C-C-C-
The four same chords in a row I play like dduuu dduuu.

-Bb-Bb-Bb-Bb-C-Dm-C-Dm-
which I play like:
Bb:dduuu dd into: C:dd Dm:dduu C:dd Dm:dduu.

And then back to:

-Dm-Dm-C-Bb-A-A-A7-A7-

Nice job! I've thought this song would be good on ukes.
