Just put it up on ebay if any of you want to see pictures or bid on it. I'd also take offers outside of ebay and end the auction if necessary.

It's a stunning uke, plays great, sounds great, and in great condition.

Didn't sell first go round, I'll leave it on here for a while and if it doesnt sell try again. Made a new thread if the mods can just close this one.

21 Frets? I take it that it's a longneck soprano, no?

Yeah it has a longer neck than my other sopranos.

That is a beautiful instrument. Why are you selling it?

Is that a soprano, concert or tenor case?

I've got around 10 ukuleles, 4 guitars, a couple cuatros, and just tons of other instruments and don't have time to play them all. The wife and I want to go on a vacation so I figured selling off a few to fund it wouldn't hurt. I assume the case is a soprano but I really don't know, when I get home from work I'll try and put one of my concerts in there and see if it fits. I know the Kanile'a fits perfectly snug in there.

Do you have any sound samples?

When I get home tonight I'll look and see if I have any on my computer. If not I can make a quick video I suppose.

Here's a sample, my mic is just a bad one from a headset that I have and I'm not the greatest player, so keep that in mind. http://yourlisten.com/channel/content/16914007/KanileaSoprano?rn=15c0wbzdh5h4
I didn't really know what you wanted to hear, if you want something else let me know and I can probably do it.

I also checked the case and it's a soprano case, my concert won't even come close to fitting.

That is a BEAUTY! Surely you can sell other instruments before letting this one go. Or maybe your other instruments are more beautiful than this one?? Good luck on your sale. Someone is going to get a uke they probably hang onto for years and years to come.

Thanks for the sound sample. I thought you played very well. It's exactly the sound I want in a super soprano. Funds are tight right now, or I'd pounce on this. :iwant:

Doesn't look like a longneck to me? Kanilea connects the neck at the 14th fret with their sopranos. That's why it's longer. The scale is regular soprano though. They move the bridge closer to the soundhole. If you move the neck out by two frets (13 + 14) you win enough space for 3 more frets near the soundhole (19, 20, 21).

Super sopranos have the bridge closer to the edge of the body: http://vimeo.com/16980688

It has a longer neck than my other sopranos, but this is the only Kanile'a that I have so you may be correct, you seem to know a lot more about Kanile'as than I do.

I've had and enjoyed this one for about 4 years I believe, and I certainly have uglier ukes haha, I just prefer playing my concerts and tenors more.
