Hey guys,

I was wondering what you guys think is the best deal/brand for ukulele tuners(friction tuners etc) for under $20 a set. Brands such as Gotoh and Grover are quite well known, but how good are their low end tuners? I've found a few for sale at these link - http://www.stewmac.com/shop/Tuners/Ukulele_tuners/Grover_Ukulele_Friction_Pegs.html

Thanks!

I loath friction tuners, and flat out refuse to put them on any of my instruments even if a customer requests them.

...it's only a matter of time...

I guess you don't many many sopranos then Allen? Can you ping me your contact at Grover please? Is it Jim Talty still?

Haven't made a soprano in 4 years, but am just doing several right now. Will be using Pegheads on them after talking to Chuck.

Check your email for contact info.

Speak to Darrel at Gilet Guitars- he will probably be able do you a deal on bulk Grovers. They cost $10-$15 wholesale from memory
