Apologies since it's probably already been covered, but the search feature here is sometimes less than robust.

I have this oddball Yairi Kanai thingee I've strung as a low G tenor, but it's actually got a 19" scale and I thought I'd like to try baritone strings on it.

I would prefer an unwound set. Would be open to re-entrant.

Best options?

I've got a half set of Bari Worth Browns you can have for a cold beer, I disliked them on my Mainland. Tuned up several half steps they started to sound like strings, but I'm not going down that path again.
I have a set of roll-your-own fluorocarbons from a fellow UU'er that I am eager to try, but in the meantime I am rediscovering the world of wound strings with some Ko'olau golds. I'm in the Marina / Culver City area.

I once owned a bari and strung it with a set made
by Aquila.All plain nylgut,no wound strings.Sounded
okay!

I love the southcoast heavy gauge reentrant strings on my bari.

If I'm not mistaken there should be or already is a Living Water unwound baritone set...I think Ken's website said late August on those? Not sure.
