This is a gorgeous handcrafted soprano ukulele made by Mike DaSilva, number 93. Patterned after the Martin 3K, the top, sides and back are all curly Koa. Top and back are single boards of curly koa. Binding and inlays are like the Martin 3Ks. Ebony fretboard with 3K style paua fret markers. Ivoroid binding. Friction tuners. Includes a ProTec case shown. Currently strung with Martin strings.

Uke is in almost excellent condition, but not perfect. No cracks or dings. Slight evidence of strumming on the top near the bottom of fretboard. Fretboard also shows some tool marks from Mike. Incredibly easy to play. Tone is great even on the upper frets, which is not always the case with sopranos. I am selling because I just have too many, and too much capital in this one.

Beautiful ukulele! Can't get the files to play, but it could just be my Mac laptop settings.

AAaarrrrgghh!! Doc!

I (paid) and ordered a new Martin 3k 2 days ago.......

Kinda hard to justify buying yours, but I did look at Mike's as well. Yup, $2,500 is what they are right now. An absolute STEAL, and DaSilvas play so very well.

Good luck,

Scott

Aaaaaaargh from me too!

If it was 4 months ago, I would have bought it in a heartbeat. Can't really justify it since I had Mike make me the soprano of my dreams.

But dang. This one is pretty dreamy!

Speechless! I am. And, sadly, too poor right now to buy it. Good luck with the sale. I don't think you will need much luck on this one, at that price.

Whoa buddy, that truly is a steal. Someone jump on this fast!

i'm surprised your selling this one--I thought it'd be a keeper for you

Every time I play it I think I couldn't possibly sell it. It is a great uke with a surprising rich loud sound. But I find I play my other sopranos more. So, time to let it go to someone else. If I didn't have a MB soprano, I would probably keep this DaSilva. I acquired it when it seemed like I'd never get a MB soprano.

Ahhh. The curse of the Moore Bettah. Everything else pales in comparison.
