Kasha Tenor Completed

Well done. Is it a tung oil finish???

Very nice!! How do you like the sound of Kasha bracing? Does it really sound different?

I have found that the Kasha bracing brings a lot of clarity and sustain to the overall sound. It seems that there is more room for experimentation with the Kasha bracing structure verses traditional fan bracing. I wouldn't say it sounds better. I will say that I prefer the Kasha bracing. Tone is such an individual taste.

Do you change strings by fishing them through the sound port on the side?

I'll second that Dave's (dofthesea) Kasha uke came out sounding very nice. It had a very balanced sound right after being strung for the first time.

Ok what we really want to see is haolebrownie's first Uke pics. He's holding out on us.

Great looking ukulele! Looks similar to a maker on Maui. That is meant as a compliment. Bet is sounds great.

Aloha,
Very nicely done.......congrats................

thanks for the kind words everyone. I must admit I am quite smitten this one. I believe I'll be building some more Kasha's soon.
