Got together with a couple of guitar players and played my first paying ukulele gig on Saturday for a local small town festival. We worked up a 45 minute set of about a dozen 70's- current, beach themed, country-rock standards. It was a blast. The three of us billed ourselves as "The Average Joes"

Congratulations, Paul! That is definitely cool! Guess this makes you a pro? Glad you had a good time doing it.

That's awesome! Congrats!

This is one of my (long away and lofty) goals - it's great hearing when people succeed at it - it reminds me that there's hope :)

Props to you! You've passed through the portal to where the professional musicians are.
Keep it going!

I don't think I'd consider myself a pro yet, but it was a great, one time gig experience. Who knows, maybe well keep practicing and play again sometime.
