SOLD! Thanks for looking!

This is an Ohana solid mahogany baritone ukulele, model BK-35. This was my first, and "gateway," baritone. It has a nice warm mahogany tone and I'm only selling it because I've since acquired a few other baritones that get more play. I'd like this one to go to a home where it will get played more than it does now.

I bought this one almost new from a UUer who had bought it from Mike at Uke Republic, so it has a good pedigree (i.e., Mike set it up before selling it), and I paid to have it checked out by a luthier at San Francisco GuitarWorks shortly after I got it. The luthier also installed a strap button. The ukulele is in almost new condition.

Here's the page for this model on Ohana's website:

Here are a couple of video reviews of this model. Neither review is from me, and neither features the exact ukulele I'm selling, but this uke sounds just like the ones in the videos. Ken Middleton, who did one of the reviews, works for Ohana.

These list on Ohana's website with a suggested retail price of $479. Online, I've found them new for $305 from Brindley's Music Center and for $329 from ukeladymusic.com. Elderly instruments used to carry them, but now only seems to carry the Ohana BK-20CE, which has a cutaway and electronics but has laminate, rather than solid mahogany, back and sides, for $259.

I'm asking $240, including shipping CONUS and insurance. It comes with its original gig bag (pictured), and I will double box it to protect it during shipping. Please post questions in this thread or PM me. Mahalo for looking!

Here are some photos of my BK-35.

Friday bump. The marketplace seems to have gotten swamped with ukuleles since I started this thread.

If you're interested in the ukulele but you think it's overpriced, please feel free to PM me with an offer. I really want this ukulele to go to a home where it will be played.

Tried to PM you about the baritone, but the systems says "mds725 has exceeded their stored private messages quota and cannot accept further messages until they clear some space."
