Mighty Day

A song about the September 8, 1900 storm that hit Galveston, Texas.



This is a folk song, takes poetic license, and as a "traditional" song, there are lots of different versions of it out there. With that in mind, every word in the song is true.


Not necessarily true in the order that they were assembled, but taken individually, each word is true.

Nicely done, Kurt. This song has a seafaring feel to it, I wouldn't doubt if it was written by a sailor.
