Conditioning the bridge?

This may be a dumb question but can you condition the bridge as you do the fretboard? By that I mean maybe once a year give the bridge a little wipe with some bore oil or something equivalent. I ask this more for a cosmetic reason. Being an unfinished wood, wouldn't it add some luster to it just like the fretboard after you've cleaned and conditioned it?

I've used a little lemon oil on a bridge without any bad results. Just don't saturate it and make sure to wipe it off as soon as you wipe it on, and I'm sure you'll be fine.

I always have, but like Dan said don't over do it. I usually use my fingertips to work the conditioner into the fretboard, then use whats on my fingers on the bridge, it's usually enough.

I do on all of my ukuleles but like has been said do not over saturate a little go's a long way
