I love to play songs on my uke from that time period. Where can I get more? Do you know of a specific sight that will have uke chords for this time? Thanks in advance.

Look up Ian Chadwick's website. GREAT collection of vintage music.
He is also a member of UU.

Be aware, much of the music of that period uses the ADF#B (D) tuning. :)

keep uke'in', and let us know what you find out

I love Ukesterbrown and Dr. Uke for this type of music. Ukesterbrown has lots of YouTube videos and Dr. Uke has audio clips which can be helpful. Also Ukesterbrown includes the verse, which is not common (I found him when I was looking for "A Cup of Coffee, a Sandwich and You" -- which he had!).

You can get download sheet music from that time period (if the copyright has lapsed) from the Lester S. Levy Collection of Sheet Music. Search for "ukulele" in their search engine, and you'll find lots of great music you can download.

Holy cow, that Levy Collection is a very interesting site. Thanks for posting the link.
I'd also 2nd the recommend for Mr. Chadwick's period dvd's.
