Just getting interested in the subject of 6 or 8 stringed instruments. Browsing the threads and shops the vast majority of them are tenor scale with a couple of baritone exceptions including a beautiful Kamaka I have drooled over.
Is this because of "tradition", far fewer people play baritone in the first place, or some other reason such as it being more difficult to fret 8 strings on a baritone due to neck width? (Though people obviously manage with a 12 string guitar).
Cheers
