Strings on Long Neck Ukulele's

Hi all, this is for those of you with long neck ukes. Do you go up a scale with strings? For example if you have a concert uke with a long neck making it a tenor scale do you use tenor or concert strings? Kamaka say that they use concert strings on their concert long necks - but I'd be worried that the tension may be too much and cause issues further down the line.

That's what I would have thought too, it's just that kamaka told me that they use concert strings on their long neck concert. Confused me slightly.
