Listen up you small makers, like myself.
I guess every mid-size town has at least one custom window-door-custom-molding & millwork maker.
Find him and make friends!
My guy makes it no secret that I'm doing him a favor, hauling off his cut-offs every once in a while, though I do buy his lunch when I do.
I could probably get this much Mahogany & Spanish Cedar once a month if I wanted, but it would be too much for me.

I'm with you on that David. I used to get a bunch of mahogany from a local plaque maker. Unfortunately, that business closed. I also used to go to a mill in northern Indiana where I could buy a 300 BF skid of hard wood off fall for $100, but they started giving it to employees to burn in wood stoves to eat their homes. I am fortunate to get the "scraps" from a local that cuts red spruce and maple for a well known guitar company.
