Blackwater Ukulele Festival - Some Pics

We had a fun time at the festival this year, each year it gets a little bigger. Long day, 7am - 9pm of steady running, so I took it easy today.

I have hours of videos and pics to cull through and post, but I wanted to get something out there quickly, so I grabbed a bunch and posted them.

Nothing warms the soul like seeing a bunch of people enjoying the uke together. Looks like a good time was had in a great setting.

Is that green van the Mim-Mobile, and does it actually have a siren and flashing lights? Emergency! There are people who need ukuleles!

Seriously, I'd love to go there with a wad of cash just to get a uke from Mim. Oh, and also have a good time, and maybe learn some hula. There's a funny home movie of mom when she was a kid. Her sister got hula lessons when they lived on Oahu, and she didn't. The home movie shows her stomping inside as her sister shows off. Since mom disses the uke, she wouldn't go, but then I could go back home and show off my hula.
