G#m-F# for verses. I just play the top three strings in standard tuning one fret up from Gm-F.
B-C#-A for the chorus.

You even got the growl right on Penny Royale Tea. You know, when he sings "tea" and kinda drags it out and wavers. lol
"Can't Get There from Here!" That would be rollicking on the uke, and a fast one, which is your style. Even a cool beginning. Think about it, Eric. (But, obviously, pick any tune you enjoy and can play best--any would be mint!) Back when REM was cool. I was in college in Boston and Stipe and REM played The Paradise (for those from Boston), and he was snooping for cassettes at a used LP store in Kenmore Sq., right around the corner from my flophouse dorm room. Those were the daze.-S.

That's a great rendition. The slightly distorted crunchy sound of the uke fits perfectly to this song.
