This is my 3rd soprano. pleased to say they are getting better each time:) Thanks to advise I have recieved on UU.
Top is Sitka Spruce,Tassi Blackwood back and sides, mahogany neck, box fingerboard and bridge, bone nut and saddle, Aquila nylgut strings, and finished with tung oil which also contained bees & carnauba wax.
Sound is very sweet. will post sound sample as soon as I work out how to do that:eek:
Have a great week

absolutely beautiful ukulele

Nice, that ukulele looks great.

Sitka Spruce... Way back in the sixties I had a wood shop teacher who kept saying Sitka Spruce, pound for pound is stronger than steel. I'll be he said that twenty times that year if he said it once.

just a memory that bubbled up from your post.

Thanks. Glad I was able to help you bring back some old memories. Hope they are good ones.:)
