K i have a kala ka-mt, I put new strings but it keeps coming out of tune. what can i do to make it stay in tune?

Strings will usually take some time to settle, so my advice to just to keep tuning them and play it a buttload and sooner or later you;ll teach those strings to stay... i have strings that have been on for a month or so and they come out of tune with weather changes (hot/cold)

Check the heads - if they're open geared or friction, there's a small screw you can tighten a little (NOT a lot) to help keep the tuners from slipping. Also check the string knots. They can unravel if not properly tied.
Otherwise: patience. Some strings take a while to settle. Play it a lot. It helps.

How long you had 'em on? If you wen just put 'em on, geev 'em some time fo settle or you can tune up half step and let it sit, then retune.
